Holds Terminology is as follows:

Active This is a regular valid hold.
Inactive The hold is "Suspended." You will continue to move up in the queue until your reactivation date has been reached. You will not see what number you are in the list until the hold is reactivated.
Pending This is a hold that is expected to be filled by an available on-shelf item (the item has not yet been pulled to fill the hold - and it could be in any branch.)
Held A customer's hold is ready for pickup. The chosen pickup branch has the item and it is on the holds shelf. (Please note: Pickup by date - on the day after this date, holds become Unclaimed and are removed from the holds shelf. Email, phone, and text notifications go out at set times each day. The hold status will update immediately in the patron and staff view so an alert customer may arrive at the library to pick up the hold before it makes it to the holds shelf.)
Unclaimed A hold that was not picked up.
Shipped An item has been put in-transit (delivery) to the pickup branch.
Not supplied The hold cannot be filled because there are no eligible items (including Reference material) or the customer is over the limit of 30 holds.
Expired All holds will have an expiration date. The default is set at 3 years.
Canceled
The hold was canceled by a customer or staff member, or expired on the hold shelf and removed from Unclaimed. Canceled holds remain on a customer's record for 14 days and can be reactivated by staff if the patron requests it. Their request retains its place in the queue, they do not go to the bottom of the list as they would by placing a new hold.
