Did you press enter too early while typing a message into Teams? Perhaps you noticed that you misspelled a word? You can easily fix it by editing your message!
On a PC:
- Identify the message you wish to edit.
- Hover your mouse pointer over the message until a small menu appears above.
- Click on the pencil icon.
- You can now edit your message and correct your mistakes. Press enter or click on the checkmark to accept any changes you have made. If you wish to discard your changes, press the X to the left of the checkmark.
On a tablet or smartphone:
- Identify the message you wish to edit.
- Hold your finger over the message until a menu pops up.
- Click on the "Edit" button (denoted with a pencil icon).
- You can now edit your message and correct your mistakes. Press the send button to accept any changes you have made. If you wish to discard your changes, press the back button in the top-left corner of the screen.
