Add a copy of an item to the libcal lending library

To add items to the Lending Library area of Libcal, you need admin privileges. If you are not sure whether or not you have admin privileges, email LIB-IT@fairfaxcounty.gov.

Start by logging in at fairfaxcounty.libapps.com, and select Libcal from the dropdown in the upper left hand corner.

Select Admin > Equipment and Spaces from the top menu.

Scroll down to the bottom of the window and select the edit icon in the Lending Library row.

Select the equipment tab from the top menu.

Scroll down to the section that you want to add an item to.

Select the dropdown arrow next to "Add new item" and select "Add copy of item."

Select the item from that category you wish to copy and select "Create Copy."

Fill in the fields shown, as they apply.

When finished, select "Add copy." Your item copy will be added to that category.
