Full-text articles (also available in PDF with full chart images and ratings) from Consumer Reports are available through the library from EbscoHOST. To search only in Consumer Reports, go to the Library's web site www.fairfaxcounty.gov/library, choose "Research Center" at the left of the page, and select the "A to Z Online Resources" option to get to the page with the alphabetical list of all online resources available to our library patrons. Look for the "Search Consumer Reports" search box on the right side. If you put your search into this box, you will be taken to the EbscoHOST login page. Log in with your library card number to see your search results.
If your search doesn't come up with a direct result, EBSCO will then do a Smart Text Search to bring up results based on keywords in your search. These results will generally not be from Consumer Reports, although some may be. You will probably get the best results in your Consumer Reports search if you keep your search term broad (e.g. "televisions" rather than "plasma tvs").
